1. i'm the host. i generally like to think i know what i'm doing. i make mistakes like most humans, but there's never any bias behind it. please just roll with it and don't disrespect my hosting or character. You will only get one warning.
2. the other players in the game signed up to have fun, like you probably did. drama is inevitible, but don't act too much a fool, because people will complain. these games get intense, and everyone rides high in tension, but don't start bringing unwarranted personal attacks in.
3. don't cheat. i've done my best to make the challenges pretty cheat-proof, but if you do cheat, and i find out about it, consider yourself medivacked. other players, if you know someone is cheating, i don't care if they're on your side. tell me about it.
4. confessionals - there will be a confessional idol awarded at the merge. if you want a shot at it, post in your confessionals. it's quality not quantity that counts. have fun with it! we love it when you try to compete for this idol!

FORMAT:
1. idol rules: the hii(s) can be played up to and including final 5. there will be one in each tribe and one hidden in the merged tribe at merge. the winning tribe or individual gets hii clues each week and can make guesses. there may be clues that can be bought with the money you earn in reward mini challenges, or the other ways you can earn money in the game.
losing tribes or individuals won't get a clue. if you're medivacked or booted with an hii, it sucks for you. you cannot use it, or transfer it at this point. you can transfer the hii at any time to someone on your tribe, but not someone on the other tribe, even during challenges.
2. there will be a tree-mail in the game. i will post news of the next challenge around the time one challenge ends. it is up to you to check this. i will clarify whether a challenge is live, non-live or semi-live.
3. in general, changes to challenge times and extensions will need to be agreed upon by the cast. most deadlines are rather hard and fast however, if there are extenuating circumstances, adjustments can be made.
4. ties: in this game, any tie will be resolved with a tie-breaker challenge. past votes do not come into play in a tie.
5. no purple rocks in this game.
6. don't be inactive. don't quit. if you sign up for this game, be ready to play. if you become inactive, you will be removed from the game. i will contact you personally before this happens. if someone quits or is medivacked during or after losing a challenge, the tribe they are on will not vote anyone off that round. if someone quits before a challenge, play will continue as normal, but there may be one fewer tc that round.
7. twists will be a part of this game. they are preplanned.
8. you are allowed to change votes as many times as you want up to the deadline. even once i have everyone's votes, you can change your decision if you like. whoever you have voted at the deadline, that's who you voted.
9. i use similar challenges in each season because i've figured out what works and what doesn't and i know that some challenges produce more drama or entertainment in certain parts of the game. i have also gone with what past players have said in their confessionals.
10. sitting out of back-to-back challenges will generally be prohibited unless i say otherwise, as in the case of live competitions or special circumstances.
11. finally, this season's endgame will feature a final 3 where the jury will vote someone off, and then decide which of the final 2 wins the season."

jigsaw planet login: you will need to create an account for jigsaw planet in the name of your survivor, or message me the name of your current account, so i can keep track of puzzle times. you will not be allowed to do screenshots only. jigsaw planet is easy to cheat on, so last season, we discovered that this system worked well. you can also see the best times, and know where you stand
SUGGESTED / RECOMMENDED:
aim: while not actually required, it is very helpful for chatting with your tribe mates. no cross tribal talking please.
we will have challenges in chatzy, so you will need to be familiar with that. i will always send the link prior to the time you need to be in the chat. as always, i will always try to accommodate the most people for live challenges. i don't do many before merge, so it's not been a problem in the past really.
