OPENING STATEMENT:
As always, thanks to Kj for hosting a great season and working hard in keeping this season afloat after several inactive/abduction incidences. Hats off to ya Lady!
Thanks to the jurors for making this season challenging, extremely competitive and overall a thrill ride. I'm going to keep my opening statement brief for obvious reasons and will get into detail while answering my jury questions.
I came into this season with a gameplay of forming a strong alliance, being a social player and a strategist at the very beginning. That along with my ability to work well with my allies in the challenge pre-merge, and not to forget the luck factor contributed my chance of making it to final two.
Social player: I made it a point of communicating with everyone post merge because I've always been a social guy in real life as well. I believe playing the social strategy is by far the vital tool in going far in the game of Survivor. I tried my best to be socially active with players outside my alliance post merge but most of the time it turned out to be strategy talk. And being social helped me in convincing players not to vote me out during two important tribals (final four and final three) where I was openly vulnerable.
Strong alliance/Loyal: From day one I formed my alliance with Jenna, Tom and Rob. Then Richard joined the fold. I was fiercely loyal to my core alliance that consisted Jenna and Tom. And at later part of the game I went out on a limb and stayed loyal to Richard and gave him warning signal every time I heard his name was on the chopping block. And that helped him to survive two tribals. After Tom's unfortunate TC, I decided to go to final three with Jenna and Richard. Nothing against Rob, but my allies knew I wasn't loyal to Rob.
Team player/Challenger: As far as my memory serves, I contributed my all in tribe challenge that helped my tribe win majority of the immunities and post merge, I competed my hard. It didn't help me win an immunity but it sure did helped me win the tie-breaker at final four tribal. I believe there's more to than just winning immunities or having ample amount of auction items at disposal to get to the end.
Strategist: I've always discussed my strategy with my core alliance and sometimes I executed it on my own accord. Staying loyal to Richard and warning him of the votes heading (and Rob C gunning for him) his way on two different occasions was a part of my strategy.
I didn't give others a false hope or I was part of fake alliance just to get ahead in this game. I turned down other players' offer of alliance by staying true to my alliance.
I truly believe I've come this far by executing my gameplay to a T and I have some this far without winning any immunities but on my own and definitely not by coattail-riding.
I will answer to your questions to my very best and I will be honest with my replies. Thanks again for a fantastic season guys.

Colby, what are some of the attributes of Rob's game you could have used to increase your chance at winning?

Colby, what are some of the attributes of Rob's game you could have used to increase your chance at winning? Being honest, none. All I see his gameplay was stocking up on the auction items and having two HII's in his pockets which literally helped him come this far. He himself said so in his opening statement. True, he won a couple of individual immunities but that doesn't mean I didn't play well at the challenges. I've come close to winning IC a few times. I can only do so much in the challenges and rest is out of my hands. As for HII, I never tried solving HII clues because I know possessing a HII is a double-edged sword. In all the orgs I've played, I never once tried solving a HII clue. And I wouldn't have made false promise to Shii-Ann and Amber and being a part of fake alliance like he did. They were down in numbers and fighting hard to survive, why get their hopes up and then vote them out? I believe in executing my gameplay (refer to my opening statement) which is what I did this season, which is what I've done in other survivor orgs I've played before. Thank you for question Richard.

You're both going to have to work for this. I have multi-part questions!
1. How did Shii Ann, Amber, Tom, and Richard each help you achieve your goals and get you to this point in the game?
2. Assign an animal to each person I mentioned, and why they are said animal.
3. What was your strongest/best move in the game? And What was your weakest/worst?

Congrats Colby on Making the Final 2.
We did manager to talk a little while I still had internet and for that I thank you!
Ive been watching the game since f6 so I have been paying attention:)
My question to you:
At the merge chapera was clearly up numbers and you guys had a 5-4 advantage on MOGO MOGO. At any point did you want to switch it up and align with some mogo mogo members or were all you chaperans a tight 5?
Goodluck!

Stercolb! Congrats on getting to the final! I'm really proud that you made it this far! Nice to see two original chapera members in the finale! I want your answer to be flat out honest, If I sense you just trying to satisfy me, my vote will be for Rob.
Richard used his dictator vote on me after initially using it on Rob. Is this because you "warned" him of me wanting to vote him out? And thus putting an enormous target on my back. I knew the risks and wasn't scared to try and make a move and ultimately don't regret anything I did in this game. What's the biggest risk you took in this game?
Again, congrats Colby, you deserve to be here!

1. Shii Ann and Amber: They voted for me and wanted to blindside me thereby flushing out the dictator from Richard. So no, they didn't help me achiever my goals. Being fair, they were fighting to survive and keeping their allies from taking the boot as I believe our alliance was doing the same thing. I hold nothing against them. They approached me separately offering me a chance to team up with them and I politely turned down their offer. Tom: He has been my motivator and cheerer throughout this season. We share a great rapport. His friendly banter and chats helped me to stay calm and focus better in this season. Love my feather man! Richard: He helped me survive the final four tribal. Even though you pretty much silenced him in that tribal, he made an effort to try to save me and that counts and that's much appreciated. Thanks Richard! 2. Shii Ann: mountain lion: She played well in the challenge and I don't know why but she reminds me of the mountain lion in this "Living with the Wolves" documentary I watched the other night, where a mountain lion successfully kills a wolf when it wandered off from her pack for a few minutes. It depicts the fighting spirit and that's exactly how Shii-Ann fought hard this season. I could've been the wolf that gets killed this season had I accepted her alliance offer. Amber: Hawk: She easily saw through things and predicted correctly, like how she predicted about the fake alliance and vented her frustration of being led on for no reason when she and her allies were significantly down in numbers post merge. YET, like a hawk, she soared for as high as she could and she never gave up till the very last minute. Tom: Wolf: He is/was fiercely loyal as hell and always looked out for his pack/allies, that included me. And other times, like a wolf, he got loose and went on around making jokes and passing facetious comments with his pack. Yet this wolf loves to stick a feather in his buns, hence Mr.Feather man. Richard: Tiger: He just came into this game "hunting" as hard as he could and he crawled his way to the final three. As a tiger, he has this commendable nature about him and that basically caught my attention and I decided to help him survive a couple of tribals. 3. Strongest/Best move: Best being able to predict the events of this game and ability to read players. I've always discussed my predictions and about players with you throughout this game and I did the same with Tom as well. Strongest being able to convince Rob C in not voting me out in the final four. I sensed, and I knew, he was close to you and he was leaning towards voting me out but I tried my darn best in convincing/manipulating him and in the end it worked. I still have no idea what happened that tribal. Weakest/Worst: Posting my challenge scores by mistake on the public thread multiple times for everyone to see. That could've definitely costed me at least one immunity win.

Actually, Colby, you DIDN'T communicate with me post-merge, except for one three-line message. So, why should you get MY vote specifically?

I'm glad we .both made an effort to communicate with each other. Even though I had an opportunity, on multiple accounts, to switch it up with Shii-Ann and Amber, I didn't because I'm a loyal player and I was committed to my alliance of 5 and my core alliance.

Actually, Colby, you DIDN'T communicate with me post-merge, except for one three-line message. So, why should you get MY vote specifically? I replied to your message and I guess that indicates I communicated with you. Communication is two sided right? And it was one six line message and one, one line message. I should get your vote because I did not get you hopes up (even though you are a smart player and pretty much predicted the odds against you) by making false promises to you by being part of the fake alliance. I was honest with you and that's the least I could do for a player who was not a part of my majority alliance. Like an old saying, honesty is the best policy.

I knew the risks and wasn't scared to try and make a move and ultimately don't regret anything I did in this game. What's the biggest risk you took in this game?Again, congrats Colby, you deserve to be here! Thanks feather man! Honestly, I remember warning Richard that Rob C will target him on final six tribal and I urged him to play either his HII or dictator. And Richard played his HII. Right after that tribal, I told him that he will be targeted again at the next tribal if he doesn't win the immunity. Then prior to tribal five, I was told by Jenna and Rob C that the vote is for you! I then decided I have to warn you and I had only an hour left to warn you and unfortunately you weren't online and I self-voted because I could never vote you out. Later I realized I was blatantly lied to and the vote was for Richard and not you. So no, I did not warn Richard of "you" wanting to vote him out. I never knew you were going to target him that round for starters. Perhaps Rob C tipped him off because from the past conversation Richard wanted final three with you and me. I even told you that. So if Richard targeted you (I was surprised when he messaged me telling me he is playing his dictator on you)means he knew that you were targeting him and Rob C played his idol on you, knowingly it wouldn't help you, to come across as a good guy. Now that's a classic backstabbing. The biggest risk was me going against Rob C and wanting to vote him out and that could've easily backfired because I knew you and Jenna were close to Rob C and you guys could've told him and blindsided me. Heck, I lied to Rob C multiple times and that could've backfired as well. Perhaps that's my only risk factor in this game but literally making it to the end without any HII or super mystery items or winning immunity or without any coattail riding is the biggest risk of all. Thanks for the question Mr. Feather man.

Whoops.. I forgot to include *Myself* in my questions! What animal am I and how did I help you in your quest? You are a lioness. Always protective of her pride. That could be translated as fixer of the alliance. You always failproofed every strategy that has been made by our alliance and always on a watch to further safeguard your alliance. You literally helped me see the bigger picture several times and stopped me from rushing into making wrong decisions, like plan to blindside Rob C prior to Amber and Shii-Ann exit would be a perfect example. And yes, you were/are a good listener who helped me vent my frustrations in this game. All of which played an important role that helped me to make it to the end.

I would like to say this to the jurors:
I am disappointed in Rob taking fragments from my jury responses and opening statement and fabricating into his response(s), which is so not cool. Lioness and her pride and Jenna M helping him to see a bigger picture, for starters. At least he can be authentic in his responses and opening statement. And he claims he did bigger moves....what bigger moves he made? All he did was win the items in the auction and won couple of immunities. So his strategy has been just playing his items to get to the end. He said he knew he was the threat and he fought hard to get to the end but little he did know that his alliance had his back and contributed in his chance of coming to an end.
And to Amber and Shii-Ann, you guys were down to two and yet he went on about lying you guys and playing the fake alliance card which in other words means he intentionally lied to you all. Not only Rob but every other member in the Alliance 5 suspected of an idol in Shii-Ann (or your) possession, so yes I had my own fears that you ladies will play the idol and take me out (you both were gunning for me), and I could've lied to you both like Rob did and being a part of fake alliance to keep me safe BUT I didn't do that. Now that's another risky decision I made in this game. Again, it's not all about winning immunities and auction items to get to the end. I just feel the necessity to address this to the jurors.
